Brandy Colbert is an American author best know for her YA fiction. She is the award-winning author of Little & Lion, a book that was named Best Teen Romance of 2017 by Kirkus Reviews and also won the 2018 Stonewall Children’s and Young Adult Literature Award.
Colbert is from the Ozarks, having been born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. She now lives in Los Angeles where she does her writing. In addition to her success as a novelist, Colbert has worked as an editor for numerous national magazines in her career.

Little & Lion is a stunning novel on love, identity, loss, and redemption. The book follows young Suzette who is returning home to LA after a year at boarding school out east.
