Elyssa Friedland is an American author best known for writing Last Summer at the Golden Hotel, a Good Morning America Buzz Pick, and The Floating Feldmans, a People Magazine “People Pick”.

Friedland attended Yale University where she took on the role of managing editor of the Yale Daily News. She would then go on to attend Columbia Law School and then went on to a career in law after graduation. Elyssa wrote for numerous publications including Modern Bride, New York Magazine, and MarketWatch.com, before law school. She now makes her home in New York City where she lives with her husband and children.
