Jinty James is an author of cozy mysteries. They are the author of the Coffee Witch Cozy Mystery series and the Norwegian Forest Cat Café Cozy Mystery series.
James was a long-time fan of authors like Enid Blyton and her Famous Five and Secret Seven mysteries. She also enjoyed the books of Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden before reading more adult fare like Agatha Christie and Elizabeth Peters. Her love of these books and authors lead her to wanting to become an author. Jinty made it her dream to write a cozy mystery of her own and that dream eventually came true when Spells and Spiced Latte was released.

Spells and Spiced Latte is the first book in the Coffee Witch Cozy Mystery series. Maddie and Suzanne, along with Persian cat Trixie, run their own coffee truck in Washington state. The town of Estherville always seemed like a sleepy town, but there is more to it than meets the eye. When Maddie was a kid she found a book called Wytchcraft for the Chosen. She’s never gotten the spells down, but then one day she peeks into the future of one of her customers and sees a dead body. Now, it’s time to investigate why.
