Julia London is an American author best known for writing the Secrets of Hadley Green series of books. She is also the author of the Cabot Sisters series and the Highland Grooms series of historical romance novels.
London has been awarded for her writing in her career. She is a six-time finalist for the RITA Award for excellence in romantic fiction. Julia was the winner of an RT Bookclub award for Best Historical Romance for her book, Dangerous Gentleman. She was born and raised in Texas, and she now makes her home in Austin, Texas. Prior to becoming an author, she worked as a public administrator.

London is also the author of You Lucky Dog. This book shows Carly Kennedy’s life in a spiral. She is struggling at work while her parents are going through a midlife crisis, and now she has to foster her sister’s dog Baxter. One day she comes home to find that the dog walker has accidentally switched Baxter with another dog. Baxter ended up at the home of Max who is equally bewildered. However, when Carly arrives at his door, he is happy for the mistake. Carly thinks that she has found to the key to her dog’s happiness, but it might actually be hers.
