Katerina Diamond Synopses: In The Heatwave by Katerina Diamond, sixteen years ago a young girl disappeared during a sweltering summer, shortly after a stranger arrived in Felicity’s small hometown. The crime shook the community, and Felicity left with the uneasy feeling that she knew more about what happened than she was willing to admit.
Now, during another long, oppressive summer, Felicity’s carefully rebuilt life is disrupted by news that a second girl has vanished under similar circumstances. Fearing a connection between the two cases, she returns home to face the memories and secrets she has spent years trying to escape.
As old wounds reopen and long‑buried truths begin to surface, Felicity finds herself at the center of a mystery that has haunted the town for nearly two decades. She may be the only person capable of uncovering what happened all those years ago, but the answers are more dangerous than she ever imagined. With tensions rising and the past closing in, it becomes increasingly clear that the threat never truly disappeared.
In The Silence by Katerina Diamond, Gail wakes in the middle of the night to find a stranger standing over her bed. Unable to move or speak, she watches in terror before everything goes black. Although she is certain the attack was real, the police are unconvinced, and the case goes nowhere.
Two years later, Gail is still trying to move forward when she meets another woman whose experience mirrors her own. The details are identical, right down to the timing. The attacks appear to follow a pattern, occurring exactly one year apart.
Realizing there may be only days before the attacker strikes again, Gail joins the search for answers. As the silence surrounding the crimes begins to break, long‑hidden fears and unanswered questions resurface. With time running out, she must uncover the truth before another victim is chosen.
The Teacher is the first book in the DS Imogen Grey series by Katerina Diamond. The head teacher of an exclusive school in Devon is found hanging in the assembly hall. Hours before his death, he received a package containing a message only he could understand, one that seemed to signal the end.
As a series of disturbing deaths unsettles Exeter, Detective Sergeants Imogen Grey and Adrian Miles are assigned to the investigation. What begins as a single suspicious death soon expands into a much larger case, with each new lead exposing hidden connections between the victims.
As Grey and Miles dig deeper, they uncover a network of corruption, deception, and exploitation that reaches into the heart of their community. The closer they come to identifying the killer, the more they learn about the motives driving the murders. Faced with the full truth, they must decide whether bringing the killer to justice is as straightforward as it first appeared.
