A Reluctant Bride is the first book in the Amish of Birch Creek series. This book follows Sadie Schrock, an Amish woman who swore she would never marry as she was content to run her family business. Her life plans change when her parents are killed by a reckless driver and puts her younger sister in the hospital. With mounting bills, Sadie realizes that she just might have to marry. Enter Aden who lives with the guilt of what his brother did to Sadie and her family. Marrying her is his chance to make things right, but secrets still exist that could tear this new family apart
The Middlefield Amish is another series by Kathleen Fuller and the first book is called A Faith of Her Own. Anna Mae has questioned her place in the Amish community ever since her childhood friend Jeremiah left. She’s never told anyone how she feels, but has always harbored secret doubts. When Jeremiah reappears in Middlefield, new questions arise for her as long as feelings she never believed she had. She starts to question exactly what God’s plan is for her and it’s something she’ll have to figure out before moving on with Jeremiah.
