Bullet Train follows a bullet train loaded with five motivated and talented assassins. Satoshi is known as The Prince as he looks like an innocent schoolboy, but is actually a deadly assassin. He enjoys a good philosophical debate, but his past has caught up with him as Kimura is on the train looking for revenge after The Prince put his son in a coma. Nanao is the self-proclaimed unluckiest assassin in the world known as Ladybug. They were put on the train to steal a suitcase full of money and get off at the next stop. However, the lethal duo of Tangerine and Lemon are also traveling on the train. Why are all five assassins on the same train? Who will make it off alive?

Isaka followed that book up with Three Assassins. The book follows an ordinary man named Suzuki who sets out looking for answers and revenge after the murder of his wife. He tracks the crime to the Maiden gang and goes to work for them where he finds himself in a network of assassins.
