Margaret Weis is an American author of fantasy novels. She is best known for being one of the creators of the Dragonlance universe (along with Laura and Tracy Hickman). She earned her Bachelor’s degree and then got a job working for a small publishing company in her hometown of Independence, Missouri. She applied for a job of games editor at TSR (the publishers of Dungeons & Dragons). Instead, she got a job as a book editor, which is where she was assigned to develop Dragonlance. She has also written other series (mostly involving dragons), including the Death Gate series.
Margaret Weis became a published author in December 1984 with the novel The Endless Catacombs, part of the Endless Quest series published by Wizards of the Coast. Below is a list of Margaret Weis’ books in order of when they were originally published (and in chronological order when necessary):
