Adam Metcalfe is sent to work as Deputy Factor of Menardmore on the estate of Lord Alcaster.
Tinker’s Pride is a standalone title by Nigel Tranter. When a Highland estate changes hands, there is trouble brewing for Alastair MacIver, a tinker who lives off the land in the remote valleys of his ancestors.
