
Dr. Paul C. Doherty is an English author of historical mystery novels and non-fiction history books. He is currently the Headmaster of Trinity Catholic High School in Woodford Green, Essex. He was educated at Liverpool University, gaining a First Class Honours Degree in History. His doctorate was earned at Exeter College, Oxford for is thesis on Edward II. Doherty writes the Hugh Corbett, Sir Roger Shallot, Canterbury Tales of Mystery and Murder, Kathryn Swinbrooke, Nicholas Segalla, Mystery of Alexander the Great, Amerotke, Brother Athelstan, Ancient Rome Mysteries, Egyptian Mysteries and many other series. Besides using his full name, he also writes as P.C. Doherty, Vanessa Alexander, Anna Apostolou, Michael Clynes, Ann Dukthas, C.L. Grace and Paul Harding.
