Exploring Niccolaio’s character in greater depth was a delightful experience in Niccolaio Andretti. Although he only made a brief appearance in the first book, he immediately caught my attention. I must admit, in the beginning, I harbored a strong dislike for Minka. However, as the story unfolded and her perspective was revealed, I developed a newfound appreciation for her. The book provided valuable insight into her character, allowing me to see beyond her initial portrayal. I grew to admire her sassy demeanor, vibrant energy, and unwavering strength. Interestingly, both characters share a common trait of concealing their true selves from those around them, making them more similar than initially perceived. Despite their shared desire for peace, happiness, and freedom, they are both faced with formidable challenges that demand their determined resilience. While Niccolaio relies on his proficiency with firearms, Minka draws strength from within. I cannot emphasize enough how much I adore this author I recently discovered.
