Order of Patrick Taylor Books
Patrick Taylor is an Irish-Canadian novelist of world literature and medical fiction. Patrick studied medicine in Northern Ireland before he left for Canada to work in human infertility. He received three lifetime achievement awards for his work. His novels are all set in Northern Ireland and all have achieved bestseller status in Canada to date. Taylor resides in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
Patrick Taylor became a published author in 1997 with the short story collection Only Wounded: Ulster Stories. His first novel was Pray For Us Sinners, published in 2000. Below is a list of Patrick Taylor’s books in order of when they were originally published (as well as in chronological order):

Patrick Taylor Book Reviews:
I had never heard of this author prior to buying several at an estate sale. What a great find!
One of the main characters, Dr. Fingal O’Reilly comes across initially as a bumbling idiot who just slides by in his diagnosis and treatment of patients. As you continue to read, you realize he has a very distinct way of doing things. He is a very good Dr. to the people and very kind to everyone that deserves it.
The characters in these books are Irish and have a different way of speaking and thinking about life than we do here in the US. It is a very entertaining read and I look for to reading the next in the series.
These books remind my of the books by James Herriot, but a lot better!
Would recommend these books to anyone!
