Surviving Savannah follows a history professor named Everly Winthrop who is asked to curate a new museum collection that focuses on artifacts from steamship Pulaski. The ship sank in 1838 and the wreckage wasn’t recovered until 180 years later. Everly is excited for the opportunity to solve the mysteries of what happened on the night of its sinking. The research will lead her to uncover a family of eleven that boarded the ship together, and two women with extraordinary stories. The women were part of Savannah’s society, but when the ship exploded they were faced with some heartbreaking decisions.

Becoming Mrs. Lewis tells the true story of a woman named Joy Davidman who began writing letters to C. S. Lewis looking for spiritual answers. She had a crumbling marriage and ended up finding love with the author. The book tells the story of their great love story which saw Joy traveling from America to England. She dealt with heartbreak and poverty then discovered new friendships and a stronger faith, and ultimately, a powerful love. The book works as both a historical novel and a glimpse into the life of a legendary writer.
