Shelly Laurenston is an American author best known for writing steamy romance novels. She is the author of The Pride series, the Call of Crows series, and the Honey Badger Chronicles series.
Laurenston also writes books under the pen name, G.A. Aiken. She is best known under that name for writing the Dragon Kin series of books. Shelly was originally from Long Island, New York, but has since moved to the west coast of the United States. She writes her books to be read in order, but it is not required to do so. However, you get more from the relationships of the characters if you follow in order.

Hot and Badgered is the first book in the Honey Badger Chronicles series. The book starts when a naked woman falls on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn’s hotel room balcony. The lady takes a shirt, a cell phone, and a gun and takes off. What Berg doesn’t know is that she is a honey badger shifter, but he is hoping to meet her agian soon. Charlie has her own problems as their father is trying to get them killed and she once again has to protect her little sisters. She’s not used to getting help, but Berg is a hard grizzly shifter to resist.
Laurenston also writes the Call of Crows series and the first book is called The Unleashing. The story begins with Kera facing death behind a coffee shop when the hot viking Vig turns up. He only knows one way to save her, a way that she might not like, but he’s going to try it anyway. Vig signs her up with the Crows – a group of battle buddies with wings to save her, and now he’ll need their help as some big magic is heading towards LA.
