Victor Gischler is an American author of humourous crime fiction and fantasy novels, and graphic novels. He has been nominated for the Edgar Award (for Gun Monkeys) and was a finalist for the Anthony Award (for Shotgun Opera). Gischler has his Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to his work as a novelist, he has also written comic books for characters such as The Punisher, Wolverine and Deadpool.
