Order of Five Nights at Freddy’s Books
Five Nights at Freddy’s is an indie video game series that has spun off into a series of successful books. The video game series is based on a fictional Freddy Gazbear’s Pizza restaurant which is loosely based on restaurants like Chuck E. Cheese and ShowBiz Pizza, where a night security guard is dealing with the animatronic characters who become mobile and homicidal after hours. The book series picks up in the aftermath of those events.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes is the first novel in the series and was written by Scott Cawthon and Kira Breed-Wrisley. Cawthon says that the books aim to expand the mythos and reveal a human element that has never been seen before in the games. There is also a film adaptation of the series with Cawthon in a key role.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes is the first book in the series and takes place ten years after the murders at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Charlotte has spent the last ten years trying to forget those events, but is now returning to the scene of the crime. Her father was the inventor of the animatronic animals and she has felt that weight this whole time. Now, she heads back to reunite with some friends on the anniversary of the tragedy. Not long after the group arrives, Charlie and her friends get curious and decide to head back to the old pizza place.
Another book in the series is called The Twisted Ones. Charlie returns in this one ready to move on and start fresh at a new school. She is still haunted by the nightmares of what she witnessed, but she is doing her best. She thinks she is finally over it all, but some local murders are proving that the situation is anything but.
