Inspector Huss is a series of Scandinavian crime fiction novels by Swedish author Helene Tursten. Inspector Irene Huss is a detective in her 40s who is stationed in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. She is an expert at judo and can handle herself when need be. The character has also appeared in several Swedish-language films.
Helene Tursten debuted her Irene Huss character in 1998 with the novel titled Den krossade tanghästen. It would be translated into English and published in 2003 as Detective Inspector Huss. The series is currently ongoing.
