The Zailer & Waterhouse Mysteries is a series of psychological thriller novels by British author Sophie Hannah. The series, also known as the Spilling CID series, follows DC Simon Waterhouse and Sergeant Charlotte “Charlie” Zailer.

Notes: Hurting Distance was also published under the North American title of The Truth-Teller’s Lie. The Point of Rescue is known in North America as The Wrong Mother. The Other Half Lives was published in North American under the title The Dead Lie Down. A Room Swept White is the UK title of The Cradle in the Grave. Lasting Damage is titled The Other Woman’s House in North America. The Telling Error is also known as Woman with a Secret.
Thanks for listing the alternate titles (North American VS British). When I was young and foolish I never thought to check that out and was quite unhappy when I bought a book I’d read before. Why does a publisher do this? Seems almost all of Sophie Hannah’s books have two titles.
No problem! Yeah there can be a variety of reasons as to why they do alternate titles. Then you also have authors who republish the same books – but just under a different title. Can be hard to keep track at times 🙂
