Rankin Announces Rebus Return
Ian Rankin has announced that the next Inspector Rebus novel, Standing in Another Man’s Grave will be released on November 8th.
Originally, Rankin had planned to retire Rebus in Exit Music when the character turned 60 back in 2007, but instead the character will return alongside Rankin’s other character, Malcolm Fox. Other Rebus characters returning include Siobhan Clarke and Big Ger Cafferty.
Inspector Rebus novels account for 10% of all UK crime novel sales.
