Scholastic Announces New Fantasy Series
Scholastic has announced a multi-platform fantasy series written for tweens called Spirit Animals. The series will launch in September with the first novel, Wild Born being written by Brandon Mull.
The second book has a January 2014 release date and will be written by Maggie Stiefvater.
The series is set to run seven books and will be synced with an online game where kids can customize their heroes, choose spirit animals and go on quests.
