Gillian McAllister Synopses: Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister is a standalone novel. It is midnight on Halloween morning, and Jen is anxiously waiting for her 18-year-old son, Todd, to come home. Her concern about his missed curfew quickly turns into something far more terrifying when she sees him step out of the darkness and stab a complete stranger.

Jen has no idea who the victim is or what led Todd to commit such a horrifying act. All she knows is that everything has changed in an instant.

After Todd is taken into custody, Jen falls asleep, overwhelmed with despair. But when she wakes up, it is the day before the murder. The crime hasn’t happened yet – and there might still be time to stop it.

Each morning Jen wakes up further back in the past, first by days, then by weeks and years. Somewhere along this journey, she believes, lies the key to understanding what led Todd to violence. She must uncover the truth and change the course of events before it’s too late.

Just Another Missing Person is a standalone novel by Gillian McAllister. Twenty-two-year-old Olivia has been missing for over a day. The last known sighting of her was caught on CCTV – entering a dead-end alley and never coming out.

Detective Julia is leading the investigation, expecting long hours, emotional interviews, and the pressure of time running out. What she doesn’t expect is how personally this case will affect her.

Because the person responsible for Olivia’s disappearance isn’t using a typical weapon. Instead, they hold a powerful secret – one tied directly to Julia’s past. And they’re willing to use it to make sure Olivia’s fate stays buried. To protect her own family, Julia must ensure the truth remains hidden… even if it means framing someone else for murder.

What if solving the case meant losing everything?

This twist-filled thriller explores the blurred lines between justice and self-preservation, weaving a gripping story of secrets, motherhood, and the terrifying cost of the truth.

Famous Last Words by Gillian McAllister is a standalone title. On June 21st, the longest day of the year, Camilla is ready to return to her job as a literary agent after months of maternity leave. It’s her first day leaving her baby at daycare, and she’s eager to reclaim a sense of normalcy.

But her day is shattered when police flood her office building. Nearby, a hostage crisis is unfolding – and the man at the center of it is Luke, Camilla’s longtime partner and the father of her child. He isn’t one of the victims. He’s the kidnapper. All Camilla has to make sense of the chaos is a half-finished, cryptic note Luke left behind.

Seven years later, after Luke vanished without a trace, Camilla has come to terms with never knowing the full story. That is, until she receives a text with a mysterious location – pulling her back into the past and reigniting her determination to uncover what truly happened that day.

Driven by unanswered questions and the need for closure, Camilla sets out on a journey for the truth – one that could change everything she thought she knew about the man she loved.
