Craig Robertson is a Scottish author best known for writing the Narey & Winter series of gritty crime novels. He made as an author in 2010 with the release of Random. That book was shortlisted for the 2010 CWA New Blood Dagger, longlisted for the 2011 Crime Novel of the Year and was a Sunday Times bestseller.

Robertson worked as a journalist prior to his work as an author and he had a 20-year career with a Scottish newspaper. His work there lead to him doing a variety of interesting thing including interviewing Prime Ministers and reporting on 9/11. Robertson now makes his home between Scotland and California which typically means a lot of time in the air flying.
