I am 78, and I have read all sea stories, starting with CS Forester. Last I read the series of Kydd, and now I am reading your series. I am curious why the skip of book 6 & 7? I am now on book 8. After reading all the other authors, I follow the historic flow, which most authors follow history of the stories. I have also learn a lot of history that I never known from school. My question is, the lack of continuity between Toulon and now in with smuglers back in England?
PS: I have enjoyed all I have read so far, some in only one day, pandemic you know!
Thanks, doug
