Order of Donald E. Westlake Books
Donald E. Westlake (1933-2008) was an American novelist who was best known for comic capers, but he also contributed to genres including more general crime fiction, science fiction and lots more. He wrote under many different pseudonyms, including Richard Stark (his best-known pen name), Alan Marshall, Andrew Shaw, Edwin West, John B. Allan, Don Holliday, Tucker Coe, Samuel Holt, Judson Jack Carmichael and several others. His series include Dortmunder, Parker, Grofield, Mitchell Tobin and others.
Westlake was an extremely prolific author. His first novel was Backstage Love in 1959. By the time, his final (thus far?) novel was published in 2012, he had written over 100 novels. Below is a list of all of Donald E. Westlake’s books in order of publication and in chronological order:
