Order of J.A. Jance Books
J.A. Jance is the pseudonym of American novelist Judith Ann Jance. Jance’s publishers convinced her to use the gender-neutral pen name “J.A. Jance” because she was writing mystery novels about a male detective. Jance’s novels fall into the mystery and horror genres.

I just finished LONG TIME GONE, in which J.P.Beaumont and Melissa Soames get together in a budding romance. Which of the subsequent Jance books feature these two and their relationship?
Which book focuses on the 86-ing of Dr Machett?
In which J.A.Janice book do Ali Reynolds and B. Simpson get together as a couple?
Is there a way to number the items in your lists? When an author has 10 or more books in a series, it is hard to keep counting from the top down to determine the correct number – is it #17 or 18????
Thanks!
It’s something we are looking to offer in the near future 🙂
I want a CHRONOLOGICAL list, not one separated by main character. What is this obsession with sorting them by character?
where is the list in order of j a jance standalone novels
Please send me a list of all your books in order.
Do you have to read them in order or is each book it’s own story with the same character?
You have to read them in order because there is an on-going personal story in addition to the story in each book. Also you should intersperse Beaumont and Brady since they intersect.
There is one book missing, an Ali Reynolds book. “Left for Dead”, published 2012, which puts it after “Fatal Error”.
Fixed. Thanks!
