Jacqueline Carey is an American author of fantasy novels. Her major series is the Kushiel’s Legacy historical fantasy series. Jacqueline got her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and English lit in 1986 and then spent six months working in a London bookstore. Upon returning back to the States, she started her writing career.
Jacqueline Carey became a published author in 1997 with the non-fiction book Angels: Celestial Spirits in Legend and Art, however, her fiction would not get published until 2001 with the novel Kushiel’s Dart. Below is a list of Jacqueline Carey’s books in order of when they were first published:
