Janie Crouch is an American author of romantic suspense novels. She is a USA Today bestselling author. She writes the Omega Sector series and Linear Tactical series. She has a B.A. in English Communication from Montreat College, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Regent University. Janie considers herself a fiction and fantasy geek, and wrote her doctoral dissertation about how people formed relationships with fictional SFF characters. She began writing fiction on a dare with a friend, and produced a manuscript that wasn’t terrible. She followed it up with Primal Instinct, which was purchased by Harlequin Intrigue.
