Robert K. Tanenbaum is an American author of crime/legal thriller novels featuring Butch Karp and Marlene Ciampi. He has also written true crime. Tanenbaum is one of the most successful trial lawyers in the United States, having never lost a felony case. He has been homicide bureau chief for the New York District Attorney’s Office and deputy chief counsel to the congressional committee investigations into the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.

Robert K. Tanenbaum’s first novel was No Lesser Plea, published in 1987. Tanenbaum credits his cousin, Michael Gruber, as a collaborator (read: ghost writer) in all his novels up until Resolved.     Such a good series! Too bad so many errors in later books regarding characters and prior events! That and when the audio book presenters cannot pronounce character names correctly drive me (more;) nuts!!!
