Stacy Willingham Synopses: In A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham, psychologist Chloe Davis is haunted by a traumatic past: at age twelve, her father confessed to murdering six teenage girls in their small Louisiana town. Now, twenty years later, Chloe is preparing for her wedding and striving to maintain a semblance of normalcy in Baton Rouge. However, when local teens begin to disappear under eerily similar circumstances, Chloe is forced to confront the possibility that the nightmare is repeating—or that it never truly ended. As she delves deeper into the mystery, Chloe must determine whether she’s uncovering a new killer or unraveling a long-buried truth about her own family.

All the Dangerous Things is a standalone novel by Stacy Willingham. A year ago, Isabelle Drake’s world was turned upside down: her toddler son, Mason, was snatched from his crib in the dead of night while she and her husband slept just steps away. With scant evidence and few leads, the police quickly hit a dead end. Yet, Isabelle’s obsession to find Mason keeps her from truly moving on—she can’t rest until he’s back home.

Since then, she’s barely slept at all—occasional naps or brief blackouts are the only respite from her relentless insomnia. Her entire life now centers on the search for Mason, but she realizes she can’t keep going like this forever. Hoping to uncover new clues or gain a fresh perspective, she agrees to be interviewed by a true-crime podcaster. However, his probing questions about her past stir up uneasy memories and make her wary. As her sleep deprivation worsens, doubts creep in—about what really happened the night Mason disappeared, and even about her own memories and trustworthiness. Despite the growing confusion, Isabelle remains resolute—she will uncover the truth, no matter where it may lead.

Stacy Willingham’s Only If You’re Lucky is a standalone novel. Lucy Sharpe is larger than life—charismatic, irresistible, bold, and dangerous. For Margot, she’s especially captivating, a force that pulls her in. They meet at the end of their first year at a liberal arts college in South Carolina. Margot is the quiet one—shy, cautious, always in the background, never in the spotlight. But when Lucy singles her out at the close of the year and asks to be roommates, something in Margot can’t refuse—perhaps a craving for daring, a hunger for change, or a deep-seated envy.

So, Margot ends up sharing an off-campus house with three other girls: Lucy, the leader; Sloane, the sarcastic one; and Nicole, the kind-hearted. Though they’re complete opposites, their lives become deeply intertwined. That year marks Margot’s first step out of the shell she’s inhabited since losing her best friend Eliza three weeks after high school graduation. As Margot grows closer to Lucy, her confidence begins to blossom. But by mid-sophomore year, tragedy strikes: a brutal murder rocks the fraternity next door, and Lucy Sharpe vanishes without a trace.
