The final book in Robert Jordan‘s The Wheel of Time series has been released, but not without controversy. The 14th book was completed by Brandon Sanderson, following Jordan’s death in 2007, and is titled A Memory of Light.

The controversy is that the 909-page novel won’t be out in eBook format until April 9th, so fans of the series have been posting nearly 200 one-star reviews on Amazon.com.

One of the reviewers wrote: “You’d figure that publishers would learn not to give the finger to a large part of their reading audience. But, no. Apparently, they need to have a ton of negative reviews over this practice and be hit in the pocketbook to get a clue. With bookstores closing, they’d best learn to respect the ebook audience. Until then, one star.”
