The final novel of Maeve Binchy has made her the highest earning Irish author of 2013. A Week in Winter sold 36,582 copies and earned €525,925.65 between September and the end of the year. Binchy’s books sold a total of 40,000,000 copies in 37 different languages over the course of her lifetime.
