E.L. James’ Husband Signs Book Deal
The husband of E.L. James, Niall Leonard, has signed a deal with Random House Children’s Publishing to write a gritty young adult novel titled Crusher. It’s a crime thriller about a teen in London accused of murdering his stepfather.
Leonard said, “Crusher is a story I have wanted to write for years and it finally all came together last November when my wife encouraged me to take part in the Nanowrimo novel-writing event. I am thrilled and delighted that RHCP have picked up Crusher for publication, and it’s a fantastic honor to join the distinguished names on their writers’ list.”
The novel will see shelves in September. Only time will tell if he picks up momentum the way his wife has with her Fifty Shades books.
