Order of Ibram X. Kendi Books
Ibram X. Kendi is an American professor and historian of race and discriminatory policy in America. He is the author of How to Be an Antiracist, Antiracist Baby, and Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America.
Kendi was the winner of the 2016 National Book Award for Nonfiction for Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America. In 2020, he was named as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. Ibram was bornin the Jamaica Queens area of New York City. He spent the first part of his life here until his family moved to Virginia for his high school career. Kendi then went on to attend Florida A&M University where he earned his B.S. degrees in African American Studies and magazine production. He would go on to Temple University where he earned his Ph.D. in African American Studies.
