Tori Eldridge is the author of the Lily Wong series that begins with The Ninja Daughter. That book was nominated for the Anthony, Lefty, and Macavity Awards, and went on to be named the 2019 Thriller Book of the Year by Authors on the Air Global Radio Network.
Tori was born in Honolulu and she is of Hawaiian, Chinese, Norwegian descent. She attended high school in Hawaii where she was classmates with the future U.S. President Barack Obama. In addition to writing, Tori is a black in in ninjutsu and teaches seminars about ninja arts, weapons and women’s self-protection.

The Ninja Daughter is the first book in the Lily Wong series. The book follows a modern-day ninja as she attempts to save two desperate women and an innocent child. Lily Wong made the decision to dedicate her life to the protection of women after the rape and murder of her sister. The missssion is easier said than done though. She lives above the Chinese restaurant that her family owns and has to hide her true self from her mother. The truth would shock her, but when a woman and her son end up returning home and finding themselves in more danger, Lily is forced to confront her family in order to rescue them.
The series continues with The Ninja’s Blade. This book picks up after the events of the last book and sees Lily’s controlling grandparents arriving from Hong Kong. That is the least of her problems though as Lily is about to go undercover in the dangerous world of youth sex trafficking in order to find a missing high school girl and a kidnapped prostitution victim. Lily will use her ninja skills and do whatever it takes to free the girls.
