In addition to being an author, Tim teaches Humanities at Rose State College. He has earned his BA from the University of Oklahoma and his MFA from Brown University. In addition to being an author, he is also the Parris Distinguished Professor in Appalachian Cultural Studies at Western Carolina University. Robert M. Edsel is an American author of non-fiction books. He has written about artistic treasures and monuments that were saved in and around World War II. One of his books, The Monuments Men has been optioned for film by George Clooney (who will write, produce, direct and star in the film). Before becoming an author, Edsel was a nationally ranked tennis player and worked in the oil exploration industry. He is also the founder of the Monuments Men Foundation for the Preservation of Art.
