GRRM Happy with Cyanide’s Work on RPG

George R.R. Martin is pretty much happy with how well his books were adapted into Cyanide’s Game of Thrones RPG. Still, he realizes not everyone will be as pleased.

New Owners of Agatha Christie Estate… Again!

RLJ has signed to purchased video distribution companies Image Entertainment and Acorn Media Group to create the LA-based RLJ Entertainment. The company will trade on Nasdaq.

Just last month, the Acorn Media Group purchased a 64% share in Agatha Christie’s literary estate. They now own 40 made-for-TV movies, 19 plays and over 80 novels. They also own many other British dramas. (more…)

The Annual Jane Austen Tea

Every year, the Daughters of the British Empire have tea with Jane Austen. Or at least they have tea to celebrate Jane Austen.

The afternoon tea, with a Jane Austen theme, was held at the Longue Vue House and Gardens. Proper British tea was served in period clothing. (more…)
