Andy McNab will be releasing an autobiographical short through Quick Reads in 2013. Among the other titles offered will be a Doctor Who short story. The six 2013 titles will be available for £1, starting February 14th. In previous years, they have released eight titles for £1.99 each.

British supermarket giant Tesco has purchased Andy McNab‘s eBook website Mobcast for a reported £4.5 million (of which the Nick Stone author will apparently get over £1m). The Mobcast website allows users to download eBooks to mobile devices including phones and tablets.

The Nick Stone author was with an infantry patrol in Afghanistan when suddenly a young soldier with a mine detector shouted “Stop!” Infront of them was a 44 lb. bomb.
