Order of Grace Lin Books


Grace Lin is an American author and illustrator of children’s books – from picture books to novels. She is a New York Times bestselling author. Grace grew up wanting to be an ice skater, but she didn’t have the attributes required to make it in that world. Instead, it was the pictures she drew that became her focus. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design, and set her goals on doing children’s books. Thus far in her career, she’s been awarded such honours as the American Booksellers Association’s “Pick of the List,” Bank’s Street College Best Books of the Year, Growing Good Kids Book Award Classic, Newbery Honor, Al Roker‘s Today Show Kid’s Book Club, Theodor Geisel Honor and many more. Aside from her books, Grace is a New York Times reviewer, an advocate for diversity, and a commentator for New England Public Radio. November 2017 Newsletter

Hi all,

Welcome to November!  I’ve been looking forward to this month.  I’m heading to Wisconsin on Saturday to see the Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions, and then Guns N’ Roses the night after that.  However the best part of the trip?  On the flight home I get to read the new Jack Reacher book!  And co-incidentally it takes place in Wisconsin.  I’m hearing a LOT of good things about it so after a couple of poor outings lately from Reacher – I’m hyped!
