Julie Kenner is an American author of romance, paranormal romance, fantasy and erotica novels. She is best known for her erotica that she writes as J. Kenner. Her series include the Protector/Superhero, Kate Connor: Demon Hunter, Shadow Keepers (as J.K. Beck) and Stark Trilogy series (as J. Kenner). Julie was born in California, but grew up in Texas. She earned his Bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to law school at Baylor University. She then practiced law in both Los Angeles, California and Austin, Texas. Dr. Siri Paiboun is the lead character in a series of mystery novels by British-Australian author Colin Cotterill. The series is set in the 1970s after Laos is taken over by the Communist party known as Pathet Lao. They appoint Dr. Siri Paiboun as the national coroner, due to the fact that he has been trained as a physician in Paris, France, and the fact that he’s the only one left who is even remotely qualified for the job. Colin Cotterill is a British-Australian novelist of crime fiction, as well as being a cartoonist. He writes the Dr. Siri Paiboun and the Jimm Juree series. Colin was born in London, but has worked as a P.E. instructor in Israel, as a teacher in Australia, a counselor for educationally handicapped adults in the United States and a universty lecturer in Japan. He is passionate about child protection in Southeast Asia, which is a major theme in his novels. After taking writing classes at Orange Coast College in California, she was able to submit a manuscript to a publisher and was signed three weeks later to a contract.
