Order of Connie Willis Books
Connie Willis is an American author of science fiction stories and novels. She writes the Oxford Time Travel series. Connie has won numerous Hugo Awards and Nebula Awards, has been inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame and also is a SFWA Grand Master. The characters in her stories are often quirky, with strange goals in mind (trying to accomplish something that makes no sense in the current situation; played for comedy). Because her mother died when Connie was still young, a constant theme in her stories is characters dealing with grief.
Connie Willis made her debut as a published author in the pages of Worlds of Fantasy with the story The Secret of Santa Titicaca. Her debut novel was Water Witch (co-authored by Cynthia Felice) in 1982. Connie’s first collection was published that same year, entitled Fire Watch.
