China Mieville is an English author of fantasy, steampunk and New Weird fiction novels and stories as well as non-fiction books. He has won the Arthur C. Clark, British Fantasy, Locus, Hugo, Kitschies and World Fantasy awards multiple times each. Although China is mostly associated with fantasy genre (and the like), he has said he intends to write a novel in each genre. He studied in Dehra Dun, New Delhi, Alexandria and Oxford and his first job was at the Indian Express newspaper in New Delhi. He earned a doctorate at Oxford. He has taught at many universities in India and the United States, including Delhi University, Columbia, the City University of New York and Harvard. Sheila Roberts is an author of contemporary romance and women’s fiction novels. She writes the Life in Icicle Falls series. Prior to becoming a writer, Sheila owned a singing telegram company and played in a band (she still loves writing songs). Her novel On Strike for Christmas was adapted into a Lifetime movie, and The Nine Lives of Christmas was made into a movie for the Hallmark Channel.
