Ellen has won the Lambda Literary Award for Best Lesbian Mystery (5x), the Minnesota Book Award for Best Popular Fiction (3x), the Golden Crown Literary Award in several categories (3x), a recipient of the Alice B. Medal, and was made an official GLBT Literary Saint at the Saints & Sinners Literary Festival in New Orleans in 2005. Vicky Knerly is an American author of a variety of genres, including adventure, historical and suspense novels. She is the writing partner of Gary Williams. Vicky is from Syracuse, New York. She has her Bachelor’s degree in English and two Master’s degrees. She currently works as the Assistant Director of Student Services and is an adjunct professor for Florida Institute of Technology. Mary E. Pearson is an American author of YA fantasy novels. She writes the Jenna Fox Chronicles and the Remnant Chronicles series. Mary has always been interested in both story and character. Her mother recalls her wanting to be a new character every single day when she woke up, having to be addressed as said character. She got lost in a Sears one time, and when the sales reps would ask her what her name was, she would only reply “Little Red Riding Hood.” Mary earned her BFA in art from Long Beach State University, and began working as an artist. She then attended San Diego State University to become a teacher. It was her second grade students who convinced her to get back into writing – her first love.
