Hey Readers –

Welcome to October!

Last month I mentioned that Harlan Coben had a new book coming out in the Myron Bolitar series, and that I’d never read any of the Bolitar series – even though Cobens standalone novels are some of my favourite books ever.

So I decided what the heck – time to give the Bolitar series a chance.

And I’m hooked.

Since graduating from Florida State University, Steve has taught journalism, creative writing, and Vietnam War literature at the University of Mary Washington. He also teaches yoga, and works as an investigator and advocate for abused and neglected children through the child advocacy organization CASA. He lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his wife Janet, and four daughters – Maggie, Eva, Claire, and Lili. Kate moved to the United Kingdom in 1986 and decided that the Church of England would make the perfect setting to base novels around (which became her Book of Psalms series). Following open-heart surgery, she decided to try her hand at suspense with Unruly Passions. Peter is the son of a salesman and a nurse. His parents wanted him to become an athlete, a doctor or a minister; all he wanted to do was learn how to read, and he soon did. But soon after, he was hit by a car in a near-death experience and had to undergo surgeries, take a year off school and spend time as a wheelchair. This only led to him reading more.
