Chris d’Lacey is an English author of children’s books, including fantasy novels. He writes the Last Dragon Chronicles, Dragons of Wayward Crescent and Unicorne Files series. Chris never wrote fiction until he was 32, when he wrote a 250,000 word story for his wife, but it would be another seven years before he would write any more fiction – a contest entry (which became A Hole at the Pole). Chris has won the Carnegie Medal, Rotherham Children’s Book Award and Books Factor Award and has been given an honourary doctorate from the University of Leicester, where he still works. (more…)

Jill Churchill is the pen name of Janice Young Brooks, an American author of cozy mystery and historical romance novels. She writes the Jane Jeffry and Grace & Favor series. Churchill attended the University of Kansas to earn her education degree, then went to the University of Missouri-Kansas City before working as a teacher for many years. She also worked as a book reviewer for the Kansas City Star. Jill is the winner of both the Agatha and Macavity awards. The series centers around Bobby Pendragon, a regular 14 year-old who is tasked by his Uncle Press with an unbelievable mission. His task is to protect all of time and space from a demon known as Saint Dane, who is looking to destroy the whole of humanity. D.J. MacHale is an American author of children’s/YA fantasy and horror novels. He is also a writer, director and executive producer and has worked on such series as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Flight 29 Down, Seasonal Differences and many others. He writes the Pendragon, Morpheus Road and Sylo Chronicles series. MacHale earned his BFA in film productions from New York University.
