Order of Goosebumps Books


Goosebumps is a series of children’s horror novels by American novelist R.L. Stine. The series mixes horror, supernatural elements and humour. Upon launch, the series gained tremendous success and spawned a television series hosted by Stine that lasted four seasons. There is a new protagonist in every book, which can either be male or female and are middle class kids. Stine considers the fact that the books do not contain drugs, depravity and violence to be a major factor in Goosebumps’ success. The books range from 110-140 pages. (more…)

Order of Fear Street Books


Fear Street is a series of young adult horror novels by American author R.L. Stine. The series takes place in a fictional city called Shadyside, set somewhere on the East Coast. More specifically, the street it’s on is named after the cursed Fear family. In comparison to Stine’s Goosebumps series, it is more gruesome, bloody, gorey and there are deaths. R.L. Stine is an American author of children’s horror novels, science fiction and gothic fiction. At age 9, Stine was already typing up joke books on his typewriter. He would start out publishing joke books for kids using the Jovial Bob Stine pen name. Eventually, he would move into the horror genre with the Fear Street series and Goosebumps.
