Glen Cook is an American novelist of science fiction and fantasy. He is best known for his series The Black Company. He got interested in writing when he was in grade school and later began writing the high school newspaper. He served in the Navy and went through college, but that didn’t allow him much time to write. He would begin to pick up his craft when he was working for GM and would write as many as three novels per year, which is when he conceived the idea for The Black Company. (more…)
