Lionsgate rep Rob Friedman put those rumours to rest, “We are not remaking Twilight. We will happily support Stephenie Meyer if she decides to proceed in any way. But this will be the last one unless that should change.” (more…)

Three months before it’s set to hit shelves, J.K. Rowling‘s first novel for adults, The Casual Vacancy is already set to break the benchmarks set by her Harry Potter series.

The story involves a town being ripped apart by a parish council election, but the book is on track to rip apart sales records.

Back in 2007, Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows broke the record for the fastest-selling book in history by selling 2.6 million copies on its first day. (more…)
