Julia Quinn began her Bridgerton series in 2000 with the novel The Duke and I. The series lasted eight novels, concluding in 2006 with On the Way to the Wedding. Afterwards, due to popular demand, Julia wrote epilogues to each of the stories in the series. The results were collected in the 2013 collection The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After.
