Charles Lenox by Charles Finch
Charles Lenox is the protagonist in a series of historical mystery novels by American author Charles Finch. The series is set in 1860s Victorian London, where Charles Lenox enjoys sitting in his study while sipping a cup of tea next to a nice fire, while reading a book. However, sometimes he has to put his book down and investigate the public houses, luxurious mansions in Mayfair or maybe the secrets that lie in Oxford as an amateur sleuth.
