Amazon announced that it has purchased the North American rights to the James Bond novels by Ian Fleming. It’s reportedly a ten-year deal where Amazon will get the rights to both the print books and the eBooks. James Bond print books have sold over 100 million copies worlwide.

James Bond is going back to the ’60s in a new official 007 novel that will be penned by William Boyd. The British novelist told Reuters that he will be put his Cold War espionage knowledge to use when he writes the Ian Fleming-created character.
